アンドレさんは、日本の戦史を研究している我が国としてはありがたい青年です。

入会のきっかけは、ネットオークションで歩兵第16聯隊のガダルカナル島戦没者の軍隊手帳を入手したことから当会の信越連絡部長にコンタクトを取り、翻訳を依頼したことで交流が始まりました。

 

向こう3ヶ月の間、日本に滞在し、様々な博物館や資料館、戦跡などを訪れる予定です。当会事務局としては、アンドレさんに多くの日本の文化をはじめ歴史にも触れていただき、日仏両国の相互理解に繋げていければと思っております。

【 Introducing Our New Member 】

 

A new member joined our association today. Mr.Mateo Andre from France is the first international member.

 

Mr.Andre is a young man, studying the Japanese history of the WWII, and would be very fortune for our country.

 

The beginning of his enrollment to our association was an internet. He obtained a personal military identification note of a war dead who used to belonging to 16th Infantry Regiment of the Imperial Army at the battle of Guadalcanal in internet auction and asked our Liaison Director in Shinetsu Branch to translate by mail. It was such a nice opportunity to welcome him to our association.

 

During next three months, he will stay in Japan and go to visit various museums, monuments and so on. As our headquarters, we would like him to try to touch and experience well about the Japanese culture and history in order to promote mutual understanding between Japan and France through our activity.
