【 Security training session for dispatch activities 】
On March 7th (Thu.), Japan Association for Recovery and Repatriation of War Casualties War(JARRWC) held a “Safety Measures Seminar for Dispatch Activities for survey remains”. There were participants from JARRWC, Japan Youth Memorial Association(JYMA), Veteran Corporation Association and Eastern New Guinea Comrades & Bereaved Families Association.
The first part is a classroom lecture. The Director General of our association takes charge of the lecture, and the lecture is divided into human, meteorological, and topographical factors in local activities, that covers safety measures, crisis management, etc., including actual concrete examples. In the latter part, the participants simulated situations that could actually be imagined using “situation setting cards” which were also created and in charge of our association. Through the group work, each participant exchanged and presented their opinions on how to deal with the situation, judgments, decisions and so on.
Our association conducts training and drills for volunteers who wish to become members of the dispatched mission, in order to carry out field activities based on safety measures and management, and to promote activities in order to collect the remains of war dead. Thank you for your understanding.
