【 令和元年度 第2回登山訓練実施 】

5月4日、戦没者遺骨収容活動のための登山訓練を奥多摩にて実施しました。
4個班が3ルートに分かれ、無線通信(特定小電力無線)にて互いの状況を掌握しながら前進。途中、雷雨と雹に見舞われたところ、他の登山客の不測の事態に遭遇、直ちに訓練を中止し、全隊を挙げてその支援活動を実施しました。
結果、状況は無事終了、全員事故怪我なく帰着しました。

We carried out a mountain climbing drill in Okutama on May 4 for the activity of the searching ex-Japanese servicemen’s remains in Guadalcanal.
During the drill, 4 platoons moved onward into each trail as performing radio communication to report the each situation. However, we faced on an emergency situation on another climbing party as encountering with thunderstorms and hailstorms at once. All platoons ceased the drill immediately and carried out a support activity.
As a result, the situation was over safely by our efforts, and all members could come back safely without any accidents and injuries.
