悪天候であった天気予報をくつがえして天候は曇り。雨に濡れることなく遺骨収容活動ができましたことは英霊のご加護でしょうか。

 

また、「南北之塔」と「捜索第24聯隊慰霊碑」にて、当会宮崎連絡部長（曹洞宗 慈眼禅寺 副住職）による読経供養を執り行いました。

【 Kansai Branch Okinawa Voluntary Dispatch Activities 】《Day 2》

 

On February 8th (Thu.), our team carried out support activities for the Japan Youth Memorial Association(JYMA) in Maehira, Itoman City, Okinawa Pref. continuing from yesterday.

 

Contrary to the bad weather forecast, the weather turned cloudy. The fact that we were able to collect the remains without getting wet in the rain was perhaps due to the blessings of the spirits of the war dead.

 

In addition, a memorial service by the Sutra reading was held at the “Nanboku-no-To” and “the 24th Search Regiment Cenotaph” by our Liaison Director in Miyazaki (Deputy Chief Priest of Sotoshu-Sect Jigenzenji Temple).
